Meet Katie

Katie O’Neill has over 25 years of experience in Operational Excellence, beginning her journey at General Electric and advancing to Master Black Belt by 2006. She has held global leadership roles in both transactional and manufacturing operations, mentoring and certifying numerous professionals.

Her expertise has led to significant improvements, such as saving over $55 million in claims, reducing application processing time from 13 hours to 30 minutes, and optimizing account setups for efficient service delivery. She has conducted hundreds of root cause analyses, addressing various issues from water damage to serious incidents in metal fabrication.

As an Army veteran, Katie applied these methodologies to improve supply runs in Iraq and optimize vehicle protective equipment, reducing casualties for our Allies. She founded My OpEx Journey to once again extend her passion and expertise beyond the corporate world to where people need them most.
