Meet Katie
Katie O’Neill brings more than 25 years of experience in Operational Excellence, beginning her career at General Electric and earning a Master Black Belt in 2006. She has held global roles across transactional and manufacturing operations, mentoring and certifying professionals along the way.
Throughout her career, she has focused not just on improving systems, but on helping people connect with the “why” behind the work. She’s known for making complex ideas accessible and meaningful—whether simplifying data-driven methods or guiding teams through change in ways that make sense to them. Her efforts have supported practical improvements, from reducing costs and processing times to strengthening service delivery and safety.
A U.S. Army veteran, Katie also applied these principles during her military service, improving supply operations and vehicle protection in Iraq. She founded My OpEx Journey to continue sharing these tools and lessons—meeting people where they are and supporting them in becoming more effective, more confident versions of themselves, so learners grow, businesses thrive, and communities benefit
